Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam(Missile man of India .)
Dr. Abdul Kalam -missile man of India (1931-2015) was an Indian scientist , politician , and 11 th President of India from 2002 to 2007 .
He was widely known as the “People’s President” due to his warm and approach able personality and his efforts to engage with citizens and promote their welfare.
Dr. Kalam was born into a poor Muslim family in Rameswaram , Tamil Nadu , India .
Despite his humble backgrounds ,he was a brilliant student and he earned a degree in aeronautical engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology in 1958
During his tenure , he was instrumental in the development of the Agni and Prithvi missiles , which are now an important part of Indian defense .
After serving as President of India from 2002 to 2007, Dr. Kalam returned to his passion for education and youth development .
He traveled extensively across the country to deliver talks to students and he worked tirelessly to inspire and empower young people to pursue careers in science and technology .
He also authored several books , including his autobiography ” Wings of Fire ” which became a bestseller in India .
Dr. Kalam was widely respected and admired for his humility , simplicity and dedication tto the welfare of the people of India .
He passed away on 27 July 2015 . while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shilllong . His legacy continues to inspire millions of Indians , especially young people to hard work and make a positive difference in their communities and the world .
